Tom Cruise and Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova have reportedly ended their relationship shortly after the actor met her children. The couple, who were first linked last December, is said to have cooled off the romance, but they remain friends as they live in the same London apartment block.

According to a source speaking to The Sun, ending the relationship on good terms was important to Cruise to avoid any awkward encounters in their shared living space. The source stated, “There are no hard feelings between them and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”

Elsina, the daughter of Rinat Khayrova, a prominent Russian politician and ally of President Vladimir Putin, was previously married to Russian oligarch Dimitry Tsvetkov, with whom she has a son and a daughter.

It was an amicable breakup

News of the split comes just days after reports surfaced that Cruise and Khayrova were getting closer, with the actor reportedly spending nights at her lavish London apartment.

The couple was seen together at a charity event supporting London’s Air Ambulance Charity, where Prince William was a guest of honor.

Despite their wealth, sources close to the couple revealed that they enjoyed doing “normal couple things” and had been seen dining at exclusive restaurants and taking walks through Hyde Park together, often in disguise to maintain privacy.

Cruise, known for his roles in movies like “Top Gun” and the “Mission Impossible” series, was previously married to actress Katie Holmes, with whom he shares a daughter named Suri.
