Diddy and the grave mistake that can cost him dearly, according to Johnny Depp’s lawyer

Although he keeps escaping from the law for some reason, Sean P. Diddy Combs is still making the least advised moves if he wants to maintain his image as clean as possible, considering the circumstances. In a recent interview with Law&Crime Network, attorney Ben Chew spoke about the grave mistake Diddy made right after that footage showing him abusing ex girlfriend Cassie emerged. Right after the video went viral, Diddy decided to make his own apology video where he claims to regret doing what is shown in the footage. For attorney Ben Chew, that was a grave mistake that could even throw him in jail for many years. In his view, making these apologies videos are a clear proof of admission of wrong doing.

Diddy posts apology video on Instagram: “I’m truly sorry”

Diddy’s video may have put his freedom at stake

Speaking to Law&Crime Network, Ben Chew said the following about Diddy’s apology video: “I would not have had my client give a statement on the heels of the release of that video. And I certainly wouldn’t have had him release that statement because I think it will be fodder for future examinations and deposition testimony, none of which is going to be good for Mr. Combs. He’s just thrown out the window any potential objection to the authenticity of the video. Also, I think what he said was really not helpful at all. What really struck me as disingenuous was he said he was disgusted at the time of 2016.”

When Johnny Depp was going through it in his own legal case against Amber Heard, surely he felt the urge to drop his own apology videos more than once. But attorney Ben Chew probably advise him against the in order to protect his plausible deniability. These days, videos like the one that went viral of Diddy getting violent against Cassie can be easily staged or faked. Especially with the enw AI revolution taking place all around the world. But Diddy appearing in 4K wishing he hadn’t done what he clearly did is an admission of guilt that can cost him dearly. If this case is reopened despite having settled it last year, this will be used against him in a court of law.
