Disturbing Surveillance Video Captures a Miami Spring Break Murder

The tragic murder of a Miami man early Sunday was captured on surveillance video, the second fatal shooting during the chaotic spring break weekend that prompted the area’s curfew. At 3:30 a.m., dozens of people are walking beneath umbrellas when the alleged shooter, 24-year-old Dontavious Leonard Polk, pulls out a revolver and begins killing the victim senselessly. Others in the area flee hurriedly as the shooter continues to fire and then flees the scene. Polk was detained in jail Sunday night after being charged with first-degree murder.
