‘Dog Days’ in Guardians of the Galaxy Makes Florence Welch Cry


The lead singer of Florence + The Machine, Florence Welch, cried on Monday when she heard her song “Dog Days Are Over” in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The 36-year-old artist talked about how she felt when she saw people on TikTok dancing to her 2008 hit.

Florence, who says she loves superheroes, couldn’t wait for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, which came out in theaters on May 3.

Since then, the touching video of her laughing and crying when she heard her song has gone popular on TikTok, with over two million people watching it.

The singer wrote in the caption, “So I cried all the way through this movie, but when The Guardians of the Galaxy started dancing to Dog Days I really lost it. Thank you so much for all the love for this moment. The superhero obsessed little girl in me can’t believe it happened ♥️ x.”
