Doja Cat Is ‘Unsafe’ from Someone in the Home, Says Mother

Doja Cat is being physically and verbally assaulted by an immediate family member, and the singer’s mother will not tolerate it.

According to court documents acquired by Us Weekly, the singer’s mother, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer, filed a temporary restraining order against Doja’s brother, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, January 12.

She also stated in the filing that Doja, 28, required legal representation against Raman, 30.

According to TMZ, Sawyer said that Raman knocked out Doja’s teeth, caused her scrapes and bruises, took some of her items, and harmed her skin.

The Say So singer felt “unsafe and traumatized,” she stated, adding that Raman verbally insulted Doja “in a very degrading and demeaning manor [sic].”

Sawyer, citing an incident from earlier this month, also claimed that Raman had threatened and physically attacked her during the preceding year.

A hearing for a permanent restraining order is presently underway, and Sawyer has received court-ordered protection from Raman. A restraining order that Sawyer allegedly had against her son has apparently expired.

According to the judge, the singer of Paint the Town Red must make her own request for a restraining order.
