Musician Dolly Parton launched a new line of cosmetics with Scent Beauty in a deal brokered by IMG, according to a Thursday press release.
The brand, called Dolly Beauty, was released with a collection of Heaven’s Kiss lipstick in four shades — Jolene Red, Honey Plum, Rosebud and Birthday Suit — priced at $20 each. It’s currently available online in the U.S. via a new e-commerce platform designed for the line, with a wider in-store retail rollout scheduled for 2025, per the release.
Dolly Beauty builds on an existing partnership between Parton and Scent Beauty, which previously produced a line of fragrances that debuted in 2021. More cosmetics in the Dolly Beauty line, including additional lip, eye and face products, are expected to launch later this year and in 2025.
“All of my life I’ve wanted to be pretty, and my new cosmetic line is going to allow me and you to be our very best,” Parton said in the release.
Scent Beauty also creates fragrances for musicians including Kylie Minogue, Sabrina Carpenter, and brands including Stetson and Mikimoto.
“We are thrilled to introduce Dolly Beauty, as we believe Dolly Parton embodies many generations of women who are excited to experience this connection to one of the world’s most beloved people,” Steve Mormoris, founder and CEO of Scent Beauty, said in the release. “Cosmetics is an obvious category for Dolly which has been long awaited by her millions of loyal fans.”
In 2021, Scent Beauty closed a Series A preferred investment fund raise led by KSV Global for an undisclosed amount. The cosmetics firm grossed nearly $40 million in sales that year, according to an interview Mormoris did with Beauty Independent.
