The TikToker (@notwxsoph) said she can supervise other cars through her high definition rearview mirror.

She zoomed in on the people driving behind her at a red light to prove her point.

“These new cars with these super high tech [mirrors],” she said.

“Don’t be talking about anybody, because I’m reading lips. Oh, y’all are arguing? Don’t be naming names first and last because I’m probably going to tell them.”

She ends the video by zooming further into the other car’s cabin: “I can see every feature.”

She said the mirrors are in her new Nissan Armada.

“I be picking my nose at red lights,” one TikTok commenter confessed.

DATA DRIVE?

Advancements in automotive technology have revolutionized the driving experience, with cars now equipped with an array of high-tech features designed to enhance safety, convenience, and connectivity.

However, as vehicles become increasingly connected and integrated with sophisticated systems, a growing concern looms over the potential invasion of privacy.

Nissan’s privacy notices claim the company is allowed to collect data ranging from driver’s license numbers to sexual activity.

It is unclear how much data Nissan collects through its driver assistant tech.
