A rapper from Ghana has filed an action against Drake for ‘unauthorized sampling’ of his work.

Michael Elliot Kwabena Okyere Darko, better known as Obrafour, is a Ghanaian rapper who filed a lawsuit in New York City.
The rapper says that the line “Killer cut, blood, killer cut” from his hit Oye Ohene was lifted by Drake for use in Calling My Name.
If you believe Insider, the pair were “working on a sample clearance for Republic recording artist Drake” before Drake released the song and album with the unsampled material. A Ghanaian rapper is suing Drake for “unauthorized sampling” of his music.
