ST. CHARLES, Mo. – One individual is in custody after speeding away from a four-car accident Thursday morning.

According to police, the vehicle sped off from St. Charles Rock Road and traveled to Interstate 170 northbound. Nearby units were requested to assist.

The St. Ann Police Department quickly caught up with the driver and detained the suspect.

It is not yet known if there were any injuries in the accident.
