Driver rescued after car goes into ravine

CENTER POINT, Ala. (WBRC) – A driver was rescued from their car Thursday after it crashed in a ravine in Center Point.

The vehicle went off a 50 foot ravine and landed upside down in the water. Center Point firefighters got the person out of the car and to the top of a ravine.

The patient was taken to a hospital via helicopter.
