LAKE TRAVIS, Texas — The Lake Travis Fire Rescue helped stranded boaters Monday night with the use of drone technology.

Crews from Station 601 used an infrared drone camera when no other light sources were available to assist in the rescue.

The passengers inside the stranded boat were transported back to the dock shortly after and scheduled a tow.
