ABBOTSFORD, Wis. — (WAOW) Whether it’s robotic milking, automatic bedding, or robots that push feed closer to the cows, they had it on display at Dukestead Acres. The Dukelow family runs the farm, and teamed up with DeLaval farm machinery to invite farmers from around the area to take a look at their tech.
Robot Manager Aaron Dukelow says the machines bring a lot to his family’s farm, and hopes that other farmers start using them too.
Dukelow said, “Being mostly automated we feel like this is the future to go to in the farming industry, and I feel like showing this off to the public and other farmers, they might get ideas to make their farm more efficient and effective.”
While the robots are there to make things easier for them, there’s still plenty of tasks that require a human’s touch, so no one is getting replaced by robots any time soon.
