The Emporia Arts Center has officially opened its doors for the holiday season, inviting the community to explore its highly anticipated annual Holiday Art Gifts event. Until Dec. 21st, the Trusler Gallery and Glaser Art & Gift Store, located at 815 Commercial Street, are brimming with unique and meaningful creations from over 75 local and regional artists.
A Celebration of Creativity and Community
The launch of Holiday Art Gifts on Saturday was a joyful gathering for art enthusiasts and holiday shoppers alike. From 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., visitors perused the Arts Center to kick off their seasonal shopping in style. A highlight of the day was a special visit from Santa Claus, who charmed the children and handed out free Art Kits to young artists in Harry’s Classroom.
Shoppers explored an impressive collection of artwork, from vibrant abstract paintings by Heather Sulzen to handcrafted jewelry, pottery, textiles, and more.
Supporting Local Artists and the Arts Center’s Mission
A distinctive feature of Holiday Art Gifts is its dedication to supporting artists and the Emporia Arts Center’s mission to educate, advocate, and celebrate the arts. The majority of sales proceeds go directly to the artists, with a portion benefiting the Arts Center’s programs, ensuring continued access to art education and exhibitions for the community.
Open for the Holiday Season

Admission is free, with regular gallery hours Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
