The countdown to the 15th Annual Eclectic Music Festival and Arts Crawl begins Sunday, April 13 at the Eclectic Preview Party at BurkeTriolo Studio.
Featuring live music, silent and live auctions, and the presentation of the 2025 Creative Community Awards, the event raises money to keep the music free at the annual Eclectic Music Festival and Arts Crawl. Doors open at 3:00 PM, and tickets are available online at TheEclectic.Rocks for $75.
Each year, the Creative Community Awards recognize individuals who have made a lasting impact on art and music in South Pasadena. This year’s honorees are:
- Mark San Filippo – A fixture in the Los Angeles music scene, San Filippo is a bandleader, drummer, studio musician, and teaching artist. Since 2012, he has also served as the Entertainment Director and house drummer at The Barkley Restaurant & Bar in South Pasadena.
- Sarit Swanborn – The longtime visual arts teacher for South Pasadena’s elementary schools, Swanborn’s creativity, optimism, and innovative art program impacts over 2,000 students, from TK through 5th grade, each year. She was recognized as a School District Teacher of the Year and went on to become a semi-finalist for LA County’s distinguished Teacher of the Year Program in 2022.
Party-goers will enjoy delicious tacos from Kon Tiki Tacos as they bid on an eclectic array of silent and live auction items and enjoy live music – all while supporting the Eclectic Music Festival and Arts Crawl event.
Taking place in South Pasadena’s central business district on April 26, from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Eclectic Musical Festival and Arts Crawl will feature 11 music stages, 25 artisan vendors, a children’s activity zone, an interactive art activity, three beer and spirts gardens, and special activities at area merchants.

The Eclectic Preview Party is presented by the Eclectic Friends of the Arts and the South Pasadena Chamber of Commerce. The Eclectic Friends of the Arts is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law (ID # 47-5448736).
