Ed Butera, Ariana Grande’s father, is getting to know his daughter’s boyfriend, Ethan Slater.

They were seen on an odd outing in New York City a few days before Christmas with the pop singer’s father, Ed Butera, and a girlfriend.

“They had dinner with her dad and family at her family’s favorite Italian restaurant, a source close to Grande told Page Six.

The party also saw Slater perform in his brand-new Broadway musical, Spamalot, according to the insider.

“They love to support each other in their work… when she’s done with work, she loves going to the theater when she can,” a source said of the couple.

According to the insider, Grande has been working on new songs in the studio.

According to photos uploaded by a fan account @allegra on X (formerly Twitter), the entire party appeared to be in good spirits as they exited their black luxury SUV and made their way to supper.

Grande, 30, looked amazing in an all-black ensemble that included a matching bucket hat, button-down sweater with fur-lined sleeves, miniskirt, and semi-sheer tights.

She wore a long black coat over her arms and accessorized with a black handbag and beautiful crystal earrings.

In contrast to the platinum blonde appearance she’s been rocking for the filming of “Wicked,” where she first met Slater, she appeared to be sporting a honey-colored hairstyle and a splash of color with red lipstick.
