Elizabeth Chambers has reflected on the dramatic changes that occurred in the aftermath of her ex-husband Armie Hammer’s horrifying charges of rape and cannibalism.
She is poised to join the riveting docuseries Grand Cayman: Secrets in Paradise alongside a bunch of former partners of the guilty personality, as she discusses honestly in the latest trailer.
“Grand Cayman has been a sanctuary for me. I moved here with my husband three years ago, but things have changed,” she said, underlining that even paradise isn’t without issues, so you can’t trust anyone.
The trailer includes images of the former couple, who settled their custody issue this summer, as well as pictures of the ensemble having fun in the heat.
Selita Ebanks, Nick Cannon’s ex-fiancée, then commented on the island’s attraction as a playground for the affluent and famous.
Courtney McTaggart, another cast member, responded, “It’s called the ‘Cayman Curse.’ People who move to the island with their significant other…. it never lasts.”
The preview also dives into Elizabeth’s public divorce from Hammer in 2020, describing it as a “riddled with scandal.”
They announced their divorce after a decade of marriage, prompted by unsettling allegations of “violent abuse on women,” which the actor adamantly rejected.
