Elon University’s Department of Performing Arts invites audiences to experience “Unboxed,” the fall dance concert showcasing original, contemporary works that push the boundaries of traditional dance.
The show delves into the multifaceted theme of unboxing, exploring its implications for personal and collective evolution.
The concert, directed by Associate Professor of Dance Renay Aumiller, will take place at Roberts Studio Theatre in Scott Studios at Arts West from November 15-17.
“Unboxed” centers on growth and innovation, featuring choreography by faculty, guest artists, and talented dance majors Pheriby Bryan ‘25, Brooke Goldstein ‘26 and Hannah Harris ‘25. Audiences can expect creative reflections on humanity and technology, including an interactive experience through devices like iPhones and Amazon’s Alexa.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 15, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, Nov. 16, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, Nov. 17, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $15 or free with an Elon ID and available at ElonPerformingArts.com.
