Elvira Warned Brad Pitt About Her ‘Haunted’ L.A. Mansion Before He Bought It

Cassandra Peterson, who played Elvira in “Mistress of the Dark,” said she told Brad Pitt that the Los Angeles home she sold him in 1994 was “haunted.”

She claimed that he was “very excited” about it instead of being afraid. The Babylon star reportedly paid $1.7 million for the property. Reportedly, he has since sold the home for $40 million.

Peterson, 71, told People that she tried to warn Pitt that “strange things have been happening in the house since we moved in,” but Pitt was only fascinated.

“He was very enthusiastic about that. “He thought it was very cool,” she elaborated.

Peterson explained that spooky occurrences began to occur in the 29-room mansion when she and her ex-husband, musician Mike Pierson, first moved in.

For example, I’ve seen people walking around upstairs, real people just walking. Peterson described the paranormal activity as a ghost sitting in front of the fireplace downstairs and walking through his bedroom.

Pitt and his ex-wife Angelina Jolie raised their six children, Maddox, 21, Pax, 19, Zahara, 18, Shiloh, 16, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 14, in the same mansion until they divorced in 2016.
