NEWBURYPORT  — The Emma Andrews Library at 77 Purchase St., is holding a food drive through Nov. 18 to support the First Parish Church in Newbury food bank. Suggested items include: canned hearty soups/chili, rice, pasta, flour, sugar, toilet paper and dish soap. People may drop off food donations inside the library’s collection box on open days: Monday and Wednesday, from 1 to 8 p.m. or Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
