MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) – A fare-free entertainment shuttle service is making its return for the summer season.
Coast RTA said starting Tuesday, May 27, the shuttle will run daily from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. through Labor Day.
The service provides free transportation to attractions, dining, and shopping hubs, helping reduce traffic and parking demand during the busy tourist season.
MYRTLE BEACH ENTERTAINMENT SHUTTLE
This route operates every 30–35 minutes, serving:
- Broadway at the Beach
- Myrtle Beach Boardwalk
- Family Kingdom Amusement Park
- Myrtle Waves Water Park
- The SkyWheel and more
NORTH MYRTLE BEACH ENTERTAINMENT EXPRESS
Operating every 20–30 minutes, it includes stops at:
- Barefoot Landing
- Coastal North Town Center
- Cherry Grove Beach
- Ocean Boulevard and other beach destinations
“We’re proud to offer a fare-free shuttle service that enhances mobility, supports local businesses, and helps reduce congestion during the peak summer months,” Coast RTA CEO Brian Piascik. “It’s a smart and sustainable way to experience everything the Grand Strand has to offer.”
The shuttle also connects riders to the full Coast RTA public transit network, allowing easy travel throughout Horry and Georgetown Counties.
