Cate Blanchett and Michael Fassbender bring movie star power to a spy thriller called BLACK BAG, a polished and sophisticated drama about a married couple who are both spies. It’s got lots of very smart dialogue but very little James Bond type action. Because what it’s really about is how it’s next to impossible for spies to completely trust each other. After all, lying is a big part of their profession. I wasn’t able to follow all the ins and outs of the intricate plot, but I was very much entertained anyway. (In Theaters)
