Entries open for Almost Heaven Governor’s Art Exhibition; prizes worth up to $100


Finally, it may pay to keep your head in the clouds.

This year’s Almost Heaven Governor’s Art Exhibition calls for one-of-a-kind postcard designs illustrating star gazing at your favorite West Virginia waterway. The Department of Tourism will later use selected postcard artwork in promotional campaigns.

Riverside High School student Jaiden White’s painting, “Calvin Price State Forest,” won second place in the high school division of the 2024 Almost Heaven Governor’s Art Exhibition.
