Evanna Lynch and Robbie Jarvis are the perfect people to teach celebs how to keep their private lives private in a hurry.

The Harry Potter actors dated for 10 years, and for the most part, they kept their long-term relationship a secret.

Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood in the fantasy series, and Jarvis, who played young James Potter, met for the first time on the set of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix in 2007 and got along right away.

The two kept their relationship a secret until 2015. In May of that year, Lynch shared a touching birthday message to Jarvis on Instagram, which made their relationship public.

“Happy 29th Birthday to this little babe!! @awildrobbieattacks sweetest boy! Off to see a show together :),” she wrote at the time, along with a picture of the two of them cuddled up together.

But the fact that they said they loved each other in public didn’t hold up very well, as the UK’s Mirror revealed in early 2016.

Lynch is rumored to be going out with a mystery French man she met in London.

In the meantime, Jarvis moved on with Zoe Fleck, a pro basketball star.
