Tepper Sports & Entertainment SVP/CFO MIKE WHITEHEAD has left his position after less than seven months, the organization confirmed. Whitehead came aboard in March as one of four new faces in the DAVID TEPPER C-suite, which has seen numerous changes in recent years. The Panthers and Charlotte FC owner has engaged a search consultant to find a replacement but declined to identify the firm. Whitehead will be consulting for the organization during the transition, a spokesperson said (Ben Fischer, SBJ).

SRJ Sports Investments, the sports unit of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, named Australian Professional Leagues CEO DANNY TOWNSEND to the same position. Townsend previously worked for Sydney FC, Nielsen Sport and Repucom International (SWFI).

Atlanta United named Adidas Head of Sports Marketing for Soccer in North America SARAH KATE NOFTSINGER VP & CBO. Noftsinger is returning to the club after previously serving as Head of Marketing & Fan Engagement before joining Adidas in 2020. She will start on Nov. 6 and report to Atlanta United President & CEO GARTH LAGERWEY (Atlanta United).

Greenfly named former Meta Head of Partner Solutions and Global Media Partnerships JOSH SEMLESS Head of Business Analytics & Intelligence. Semless is among several Meta execs who have joined Greenfly this year, including PETER HUTTON, NICK SHAW and GABBY VIDAL CASTILLO (Greenfly).

The Chargers named Dodgers SVP/Global Partnerships COREY NORKIN Chief Partnership Officer. Prior to spending four years with the Dodgers, Norkin held senior level roles in partnership and premium seating with Sportfive, The Madison Square Garden Company, the N.Y. Jets and the Royals (Chargers).

CFL Saskatchewan Roughriders GM and VP/Football Operations JEREMY O’DAY has “agreed to a new contract,” which was “set to expire at the end of this season.” The 2024 season will be O’Day’s 26th season with the Riders and his sixth year as GM (Saskatoon STARPHOENIX, 10/23).

The Mountain West named West Coast Conference Associate Commissioner/Sports Administration & Championships SEAN HARRIS to the same role. He will oversee the operations of all Olympic sports championships and serve as the sport administrator for several sports. Harris previously spent over eight years with the Pac-12, most recently as Assistant Commissioner/Sports Management & Championships (Mountain West).

Octagon named former Winners Alliance Dir of Player Marketing & Events JENNA NOBLES Senior Dir. She is rejoining Octagon, previously serving as Dir of Marketing & Sales for two years. Prior to her first stint at the agency in ’20, Nobles was VP/Marketing for Dream Point Sports and Manager of Player Services for the NFLPA (SBJ).
