Fans of Shakira believe that “Karma” taught Gerard Piqué a lesson for the bad things he did to her before they broke up.

After her ex-boyfriend Gerard Piqué fell through a stage hole during the opening event for his Kings League Americas 7-on-7 game on Tuesday night, fans of the singer must surely think the same thing.

TMZ was able to get a video of the retired soccer player trying to get to the side of the stage to talk to his fans, but he wasn’t able to.

His worried fans quickly looked over the safety barrier to see how he was doing as he put his phone to his ear, took a step in the wrong way, and vanished.

It is said that Piqué did not get hurt in the slip and managed to get out of the hole.

The Spanish athlete was quickly attacked by Shakira fans on X (formerly Twitter), who said that the fall was his punishment for allegedly cheating on her before they broke up.

Some fans joked in tweets, “Don’t disrespect the stage queen and then expect the stage to respect you,” and another said, “You can’t escape KARMA, oh well pique.”

Someone else who liked Shakira said, “The shakira voodoo got him good.”

They broke up in a short message to their fans in June 2022. The Hips Don’t Lie singer, 46, and Piqué, 36, said they were no longer together.
