Father’s Day weekend car shows and events happening across Ontario


Are you looking for something to do with your dad this Father’s Day weekend?

If Pops is into cars, there are a few places to check out some high-end rides on Father’s Day, which falls on Sunday, June 16, as well as the entire Father’s Day weekend.

Here’s what’s available in southern Ontario.

Ottawa Ferrari Festival

  • June 14 to 16, hours vary daily
  • Multiple locations, particularly around Little Italy, Ottawa

The 17th annual Ottawa Ferrari Festival is the premier event of the Ottawa chapter of the Ferrari Club of America, featuring a mix of free and ticketed events. For people who just want to come and check out cars on display, there will be the Preston Street Ferrari Display on Saturday and Sunday from 6 to 11 p.m., which is free to attend. The weekend also features vehicle parades, a demo zone, a dinner, Ferrari rides and more, some of which require tickets purchased ahead of time.

Gravenhurst Car Show

  • Saturday, June 15, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Gull Lake Rotary Park, Gravenhurst

The 31st annual Gravenhurst Car Show is a Father’s Day weekend tradition in Muskoka that happens right by Gull Lake.

Yorkville Exotic Car Show

  • Sunday, June 16, noon to 5 p.m.
  • Bloor-Yorkville area

The 14th annual Yorkville Exotic Car Show takes over the Bloor-Yorkville area featuring more than 100 exotic and classic cars on display, including Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and more. The event is outdoors and Bloor Street is closed to traffic between Avenue Road and Yonge Street. Admission is free.

Cars ‘N’ Anime Fest

  • Sunday, June 16, noon to 6 p.m,
  • Al Palladini Community Centre, Vaughan

Cars ‘N’ Anime Fest is an indoor festival featuring cars, anime, cosplay, vendors, and more with proceeds supporting Hemophilia Ontario. Cosplay costumes are encouraged but not required. Admission costs $20.

Father’s Day Car Show

  • Sunday, June 16, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Rotary Centre for Youth, Bracebridge

The Rotary Club of Bracebridge hosts an event where people can check out classic cars whose owners put a lot of effort into restoring. There’s also a breakfast event and food vendors will be on site at the event.

Father’s Day Vintage Car Show

  • Sunday, June 16, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • Safari Niagara, Fort Erie

Safari Niagara is hosting a vintage car show in the Stevensville Garden Gallery parking lot, which is beside the Safari Niagara parking lot. It promises a spectacular car show with more than 100 cars on display, as well as music and food. Dad’s entry to the zoo is also free that day.

Cruising On The Q

  • Sunday, June 16, noon to 3 p.m.
  • Rapidsview Park, Niagara Falls

Cruising On The Q and the Niagara Falls Rotary Ribfest are putting on a special Father’s Day Sunday car show at Rapidsview Park (across from Marineland). It costs $5 to enter your ride and all cars are welcome.

Highway 11 Cruisers C.C. Father’s Day Car Show

  • Sunday, June 16, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Home Depot Aurora

The Highway 11 Cruisers are hosting a Father’s Day car show at the Home Depot in Aurora, featuring hot rods, rat rods, classics, trucks, motorcycles, supercars and even race cars. Admission is free but charitable donations will be accepted.
