Fauntleroy follows geology

Tuck Fauntleroy’s signature style of photography keeps eagle eyes on the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem and Grand Teton National Park. His images transform from a lens of documentation to fine art landscapes.

Fauntleroy’s new show, “Confluence and Caldera” is an exposition in precision. Each frame incorporates months of meticulous planning. Fauntleroy shoots aerial images and times his flight paths to capture water as it carves springtime channels — often while he hangs out the window of a single-engine airplane carefully directing his pilot for the exact shot.
