Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Faurecia, a company under the world’s seventh-largest global automotive technology supplier FORVIA, celebrated the renovation completion of its China headquarters building, with a grand unveiling event in Shanghai on November 7, 2023.

In 2005, Faurecia established Shanghai as its regional headquarters in China, extending its influence across the nation. A significant milestone came in 2013 when Faurecia (China) Holding Co., Ltd. officially settled in the Minhang Xinzhuang Industrial Park, Shanghai. Today, as part of its commitment to further expanding its presence in the country, Faurecia China has embarked on a comprehensive upgrade of the Phase One headquarters building and the inauguration of the Phase Two building. Both buildings have been given new names and functions.

The Phase Two building is now known as “福楼” (Fulou), symbolizing good fortune and auspiciousness. Spanning over 1,000 square meters, it can accommodate more than 400 employees. Fulou’s design aligns with Faurecia’s values and mission, focusing on reducing carbon emissions and conserving energy and water resources in line with the ” Faurecia Green Factory White Paper.”

The Phase One headquarters building is named “瑞楼” (Ruilou), named after the Chinese name of FORVIA “佛瑞亚” (Fó Ruì Yà), which resulted from the merger of Faurecia and HELLA. The Ruilou has undergone a renovation, with upgrades to areas such as the reception, office spaces, and the cafeteria.
Fulou and Ruilou complement each other and lay the foundation for even closer collaboration among Faurecia and FORVIA Group’s various business divisions in China. This synergy is expected to enhance innovation and technical research and development capabilities, ultimately delivering integrated smart mobility solutions for Chinese customers and consumers.
