FAYETTEVILLE — The city is seeking resident feedback on a draft of a plan to guide arts and culture in the city for years to come.
A draft of the Fayetteville Arts and Culture Plan has been posted on the city’s website at fayetteville-ar.gov/4316/Arts-and-Culture-Plan for public review and feedback, according to a city news release.
People can review the plan and provide comments through Dec. 30. Feedback should be sent to Joanna Sheehan Bell, Fayetteville’s arts and culture director, at [email protected].
“Arts and culture are at the heart of what makes Fayetteville a unique and thriving community,” Bell said. “This plan will help us elevate and sustain Fayetteville as a place where creativity can flourish, and where everyone feels connected and inspired.”
The City Council hired consultants Jill Stilwell of Stilwell Cultural Consulting and Kendall Peterson of ThereSquared, both in Colorado, in November 2022 for $188,900 to come up with the plan.
The plan will guide Fayetteville’s arts and culture initiatives for the next decade, according to the city.
