A Ferry Building art gallery this week aims to get visitors in the swing of the summer.

Artspan, the SoMa nonprofit arts center, will hold its “Brightside” exhibition Thursday through Sunday as part of its “Art-In-Neighborhoods” series. The Ferry Building’s grand hall will hold an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, and the exhibit is open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It’s open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, and the featured artists will participate in a guided walkthrough.
