Durga Puja is a festival that celebrates the power of women. It’s a 9 days-long festival during which women observe fast, dress up to worship and seek blessings of Maa Durga. While getting ready for Durga Puja here are five makeup tips that you consider.
Bold eyes
Bengali women have big eyes which adds to their beauty. So while doing makeup for Durga Puja make sure to enhance your eyes. Kohl-rimmed eyes are an iconic Durga puja look that every woman does. To achieve this look put kajal on both upper and lower lash and volumnising mascara to create the perfect bold eyes. You can put black eye shadow powder to prevent your kajal from getting smudged.
Glowing Skin
Synonymous to Maa Durga’s radiating skin you can apply liquid highlighter on your cheeks before applying foundation. This will provide a soft and luminous glow to your face.
Expressive Eyebrows
Eyebrows add a character and expression to your look. Thus make sure to give a proper shape to your eyebrows on either side as it helps in framing the face beautifully. You can use an eyebrow pencil to shape your eyebrows and fill the gaps in between to make them look more realistic and impactful.
Use Waterproof Makeup
While you are putting on makeup on your face, make sure they are all waterproof especially eyeliner, kajal and mascara as there are chances of them getting smudged. You can add a coat of powder to the mascara to make it water-resistant. For your skin, you can apply a layer of compact powder (compact powder for dry skin) to set the makeup.
