Multiple callers to 911 reported a white Chevrolet Camaro had driven off the road and clipped a power pole, breaking the car apart. The power lines were hanging very low, causing the closure of Highway 200.
Crews say they discover the Camaro in pieces on the road when they arrive. The driver was issued a trauma alert and taken to a local hospital.
FHP Troopers are investigating the scene and a power company is working to restore the power lines in the area.
