The Handmade Arcade is back for the holidays! The holiday market edition takes place at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on December 2nd from 11am – 6pm! The big event features “one-of-a-kind handmade products from 275+ talented makers and artists.”
It’s the largest holiday market in the region and will definitely make for a unique experience! Here’s everything you need to know.
More Makers Than Ever
You’ll find an amazing list of makers this year. It’s completely packed with so many cool unique handmade items, from sustainable clothing and accessories to innovative home décor and decadent body products. There’s also artwork, bath and body, housewares, ceramic, jewelry, and so much more!
“Come to be inspired, and leave with distinctive handcrafted products you won’t find anywhere else! Bring you whole crew for a day of shopping, hands-on crafts, and breathtaking live demonstrations.”
Fun Activities Throughout the Event
Hands-on handmade activities include demos (glassblowing by Pittsburgh Glass Center), make-and-takes, and community art projects.
There’s always something fun going on! It’s the best place for an original gift that you’ll cherish each year!
Friday Night Happy Hour (December 1st, 5pm – 7:30pm)
Before the main event on Saturday, “meet the makers in an intimate setting and browse the market before anyone else! Your ticket purchase supports Handmade Arcade’s year-round programming.” Enjoy the special happy hour menu of food and drinks from Levy Concession.
Giveaways include 25 tickets to the Exclusive Friday Night Raffles! Winners will be announced at the event. First 300 attendees receive a mini gift from Una Biologicals.
Early Bird Shopping (December 2nd, 9am – 11am)
Avoid the crowds and shop early. “A community favorite, our Early Bird event is your chance to shop from makers in an intimate setting, allowing you to browse slowly, talk to the makers, and meet other Handmade fans!”
Free Timed Ticket
Your free timed ticket “designates when you will be allowed to check in and enter the market. No time limitations for shopping: You’re free to shop for as long as you want after you check-in.”
Concessions will also be open during the main event! Grab a coffee, breakfast sandwich, or snack while you browse the makers.
Since 2004, Handmade Arcade has provided 18 holiday markets, welcoming over 120,000 shoppers. “Handmade Arcade empowers makers of all ages by providing them with professional development and connections to customers.”
