Fine art photographer chronicles disappearing rural architecture in new doc


KEESEVILLE — Fine art photographer Jim Westphalen’s documentary, “Vanish: Disappearing Icons of a Rural America” screens 7 p.m. on July 2, at the Lake Placid Center for the Arts, 17 Algonquin Dr. on Wednesday, July 2.

Old homes, barns, churches, industrial sites, and other historic buildings dot the rural American landscape, the Adirondack region included.
