Emporia firefighters are among the response effort to a reported structure fire in southeast Emporia.

Crews from Emporia, Americus and Olpe were dispatched to Hill’s Pet Nutrition in the 400 block of South Weaver after 7 am. They were first told to investigate a fire alarm around 7:20 am, with the call upgraded to a structure fire less than 15 minutes later.
