The calendar threw us all a curveball this year by placing half of a weekend after Memorial Day. The weekend is front-loaded, though, so almost all of the good stuff happens before the calendar flips and you’ll be able to spend your Sunday on the beach.

By the way, the Cash Money Millionaires concert scheduled for Saturday night at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena has been postponed. It will now be played Aug. 16, at the same venue, and tickets for the May show will be honored.

Summer at the Cummer

4-9 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens. Free.

The Friday evening series returns, with free admission, food and beverages, outdoor games and live music from Freddy for Peace and the Holly Ford Jazz Band. Info: cummermuseum.org

Sam Barber

7 p.m. Friday, May 30, at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. $35-$65.

Did you ever wonder what happens to those who don’t make the cut on “American Idol”? Some of them, like Sam Barber, get a song on “Yellowstone,” put together an album and, three years later, find themselves headlining an amphitheater tour. Waylon Wyatt and Noah Rinker open the show. ‘Hopelessly Devoted’

7:30 p.m. Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, at Jacoby Symphony Hall. $30-$88.

The Jacksonville symphony goes pop, playing hits from Olivia Newton-John, Cyndi Lauper and other ‘80s ladies. Info: jaxsymphony.org

Jax Parks Monopoly Tournament

8:30 a.m. Saturday, May 31 at the Jacksonville Main Library.

Registration is closed, but you can still watch as 84 players roll the dice, pass Go and try desperately to avoid landing on Boardwalk. Games are limited to 75 minutes, which allows organizers to get in three rounds. Info: jacksonville.gov

Kodak Black

8 p.m. Saturday, May 31, at Daily’s Place. $94-$331.

It’s billed as a Kodak Black — Young Ca$h & Friends Birthday Bash (even though it’s not actually either one’s birthday). Online posters list Plies, Pleasure P, Field Mob, Trap Beckham and T-Rone. There’s also a separately ticketed celebrity basketball game scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1, at Edward Waters College. Info: dailysplace.com
