Fleetwood senior Aiden Soumas scored the 1,000th point of his career on Monday night in the Tigers’ 67-47 win over Garden Spot in a non-league game at Fleetwood.

Soumas scored 26 points, tying a career high, to reach the milestone and help lead the Tigers (16-2) to the win. He is the sixth player in Fleetwood’s history to score 1,000 career points.

Soumas entered Monday needing seven points to get to 1,000. He went 2-for-2 from the foul line with two 3-pointers in the game.

Soumas is averaging 17.4 points per game and is the Tigers’ leading scorer.
