Geneva based online bank and brokerage firm FlowBank has announced a new four-year partnership with Swiss Tennis, expanding the commitment it has made to the sport in Switzerland since 2021.
With immediate effect, FlowBank will also support the Swiss national teams, starting with the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup teams, and extending to the junior national teams. The agreement is valid for the next four years.
FlowBank said it will not only take over the title sponsorship of the Swiss Tennis International Tour, which comprises around two dozen international tournaments on Swiss terrain, but will also be involved with the national tennis teams at all levels.
FlowBank has concluded a number of sponsorships around the sport of tennis, most notably as a sleeve sponsor of Alexander Zverev, who currently sits at World #6 in the Pepperstone ATP rankings, and who just competed in the Australian Open semi-finals. The company has also engaged Elina Svitolina as Brand Ambassador.
René Stammbach, President of Swiss Tennis, is delighted about the early extension and simultaneous expansion of the partnership:
“A well-coordinated doubles team can deliver top performances at so many different levels. We are delighted that FlowBank continues to share Swiss Tennis’ vision and that together we can ensure the positive development and further growth of Swiss tennis.”
The expansion of FlowBank’s activities with Swiss Tennis is part of a series of strong commitments by the Geneva-based online bank around tennis, especially in the “next-gen” sector, as FlowBank Director Charles Henri Sabet explains:
“We are proud to strengthen our partnership with Swiss Tennis and to extend our support to national teams and junior players. Tennis aligns with our values of discipline and excellence and we look forward to playing a key role in the growth of Swiss Tennis over the next four years.”
