The FOA Foundation has awarded $100,400 in arts grants to 31 local organizations for 2025.
LPAPA was one of the beneficiaries of the FOA Foundation grants.
The grants will benefit a wide range of nonprofit organizations and school programs in Laguna Beach, including performing arts groups, museums, youth arts initiatives, and educational institutions. Recipients include Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach, Laguna Beach High School’s Art Department, Ceramics Department and Video and Photography, Laguna Beach Schools Performing Arts, Laguna Beach Chamber Singers, Laguna College of Art and Design, Laguna Beach Cultural Arts Center, Laguna Beach Live, Laguna Art Museum, Laguna Beach Seniors, Laguna Community Concert Band, Laguna Dance, Laguna Playhouse, Laguna Plein Air Painters Association, Laguna Radio, LagunaTunes Community Chorus, LOCA, No Square Theatre, Sawdust Art Enrichment Fund, My Hero Project, Third Street Writers, Thurston Middle School Drama, Arts for All, Brave Players, Coast Film Foundation, Creative Identity, OMG Youth Sports and Opera Laguna.

The foundation, originally established in 1989 as the Laguna Beach Festival of Arts Foundation, has awarded nearly $3 million in grants over the years to support local arts and culture. Its mission is to preserve and promote the fine arts and other artistic endeavors in and around Laguna Beach.
The 2025 funding will support projects spanning visual arts, music, theater, film, dance, and literature. Organizations such as No Square Theatre, LagunaTunes Community Chorus, LOCA Arts Education, the Sawdust Art Enrichment Fund and Thurston Middle School Drama were among the grant recipients.
The FOA Foundation is governed by a board of trustees including Kathy Jones (president), John Campbell (vice president), Michelle Reindl (treasurer), Kirsten Whalen (secretary), and board members Jacquie Moffett, Jeff Redeker, Bob Earl and Jeff Rovner.
