Festival of Trees boosts local nonprofit organizations
The Festival of Trees Gala is set to take place Nov. 22 at Thelma Sadoff Center for the Arts, 51 Sheboygan St., Fond du Lac. The event runs 6 to 9 p.m.
Trees have been decorated by individuals, families, organizations and businesses for a progressive silent auction. Winning bidders can either keep their fully decorated tree or donate it to a family in need.

Also included will be wreaths for auction, games, prizes, festive decor and more.

St. Mary’s Springs to present ‘All’s Fair’ for three shows
St. Mary’s Springs High School Theater will perform “All’s Fair” by Pat Cook Nov. 22 to 24.
Show times are 7 p.m. Nov. 22 and 23 and 1 p.m. Nov. 24 and will be performed at the North Fond du Lac Horace Mann Performing Arts Center, 225 McKinley St.
Advanced tickets are $12 for adults and $7 for senior citizens and students at hometowntickets.com.
Sigma Holiday House features gifts, crafts, artwork
Sigma Holiday House will be 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 23 at Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Expo Center, 520 Fond du Lac Ave.
The juried event showcases a variety of collectibles, gifts, original crafts, clothing and art. A raffle and silent auction and Sigma’s homemade Christmas cookies will also be available.

Benefit concert features three local bands
Gobblefest 25, featuring three local bands, will be 6 to 11:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Fond du Lac County Fairgrounds Rec Center, 520 Fond du Lac Ave.
Scheduled to play are That 90’s Band, Boogie and the Yo-yoz and The Astronomers. Food available to purchase includes pizza, walking tacos, pulled pork and more.

Annual Turkey Trot set for Thanksgiving Day
The Festival Foods Turkey Trot Fond du Lac will begin at 8 a.m. Nov. 28. The trot begins at Fond du Lac High School, 800 Campus Drive.
All ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Choose the untimed 2-mile Fun Run or the timed 5-mile Run. There’s also a 2-mile Dog Jog option.
Registration includes a shirt, pumpkin pie, coupons, snacks and a race-day bib. The dog jog includes a bandana and race-day bib.
Registration is $35 for adults, $15 for youth 17 and younger, and $5 for dogs. Register online at fonddulac.festivalfoodsturkeytrot.com.

Holiday lights to brighten Lakeside Park for the season
Lakeside Park will shine with thousands of lights for the holidays beginning Nov. 28.
The park is at 555 N. Park Ave., Fond du Lac, and shows will be open 5 to 11 p.m. each night through Jan. 1.
A parking lot is open across the street for the best viewing. After parking, turn off your headlights and tune your car radio to 87.9 FM to listen to the music. The trees will dance to eight songs (about 25 minutes), followed by a short intermission, and then the show repeats.
