BULLHEAD CITY — An army of volunteers and thousands of pounds of food are providing a Thanksgiving meal and all the fixings to nearly 600 families.

Catholic Charities Community Services, BHHS Legacy Foundation and Food for Families partnered to distribute meal kits Thursday for families in need in Bullhead City. The packages provide families with a complete traditional Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, gravy, canned corn, green beans, cranberries, potatoes, stuffing, rolls and pumpkin pie — and a sweet surprise package of candies donated by Target.
