Indian food pop-up

KEWADIN — Indian cuisine is served from noon to 2 p.m. Sunday at Pine Hill Nursery.

Menu will feature paneer (cheese) butter masala, chhole Chana masala (chickpeas and spices), Indian salad with flatbread, donuts and beverages. Cost is $25 per adult, $5 per child. Reservations: [email protected].

EAST LANSING — Preserving MI Harvest- The Gift of Preservation program will begin at 1 and 6 p.m. Thursday via Zoom.

Food fundraiser

TRAVERSE CITY — WCMU Public Radio and Feeding America will host their “Foodraiser” on Thursday through Nov. 20. Radio listeners can donate to a program and a “thank you” gift of meals will be locally distributed by the Manna Food Project.

LANSING — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is inviting Michiganders of all ages to submit turkey names until noon Nov. 17.

Call for donations

TRAVERSE CITY — Grand Traverse County Commission on Aging is accepting donations for its Baskets of Bounty program until Nov. 22.

Items may include nonperishable food (no glass jars), puzzles, paper towel and facial tissues. Local seniors will receive these during the holiday season.
