As seen during the January 13th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Chad Gable faced a mystery opponent who ended up being former AEW star Penta. After several minutes of back and forth action, Penta picked up the victory with the Penta driver.

After the match, Penta cut a promo in both English and Spanish. Penta said it was a new era for WWE and a new era for him as well.
