Former ‘Baywatch’ Actress Alexandra Paul Was Found Not Guilty of Stealing Chickens from a Poultry Truck

Alexandra Paul, who once ran alongside Pamela Anderson on the beach, says she would do it again.

Alexandra Paul, a former “Baywatch” babe, may have avoided a guilty verdict in her chicken theft case this time, but she says she wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

“I’ll be back,” Paul assured.

In September of 2021, Paul and another defendant, Alicia Santurio, were photographed stealing two chickens from a truck in California. Paul claimed they were saving the chickens from a slaughterhouse on the way to where the truck was headed.

Paul testified in her own defense, telling the jury, “I believed it was legal for me to remove the animals, to rescue them, because they were suffering.”

Direct Action Everywhere, an animal activist organization, filmed the unusual heist and shared the video online, where it quickly went viral.

Both Paul and Santurio faced up to 6 months in jail if found guilty of the misdemeanor theft charges that were filed against them after the incident.

However, Paul claims she was “not concerned at all” that the trial would not go her way. “Most of the time, the factory farms don’t press charges because they’re worried about information coming out in court,” she explained. “So I was just glad to be there in the first place.”

Santurio was found not guilty as well.

Paul, who co-starred in “Baywatch” with Pamela Anderson, is also well-known in activism circles, where she has been involved for the majority of her life.
