Former gas station eyed to become entertainment hub in town of Halifax; public hearing set Tuesday

The Tobacco Region Revitalization Commission last week approved $285,729 for a project that aims to transform a former gas station in the town of Halifax into what leaders call a “destination restaurant/bar and entertainment hub.”

Halifax Town Council will hold a public hearing at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the matter. After listening to input from residents, council is expected to authorize the signing of a lease for the complex.
