A big transformation is coming to the former Metro 8 theater in Indio! The space will soon become a gymnastics and performing arts center, offering a new hub for athletic and artistic development.

To help shape this project, the Desert Recreation District is inviting the community to share their ideas. A community engagement meeting will be held from February 5th to 19th, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., giving residents the opportunity to provide input on what they’d like to see in the new facility.

This redevelopment aims to bring new opportunities for youth and performers in the Coachella Valley, and organizers hope to make it a space that reflects the needs of the community. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the conversation!
