NEW YORK CITY — A former teacher represented Spokane in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade Thursday morning.

Chris Poole is a recently retired band teacher for Spokane Public Schools. Thanksgiving morning, he marched in New York City on behalf of Band Directors of America.
