FARMINGTON, Maine (WABI) – Former Winslow Black Raider Jason Reynolds is settling in with the UMaine-Farmington Beavers.

He was recently named the MMBCWA Rookie of the Week.

Reynolds reached double figures in scoring and rebounding on the way to averaging 15 points and 10 boards.

Reynolds explained how he’s been able to adjust to the college game.

“Our team at Farmington, we know that everybody’s all in. We’re all focused on one goal, and I’m just really proud that everybody’s locked in. I just want to go out there and do anything I can to help the team win,” said Reynolds, first-year forward.

Reynolds and the Beavers visit Husson on Friday night.

Their final North Atlantic Conference game is a trip to Thomas on Tuesday.

Then, the Beavers are back in Farmington to host UMaine-Augusta to finish the regular season.
