In the planned Formula One movie, Brad Pitt will race against Sir Lewis Hamilton in the British Grand Prix this summer.
The famous Silverstone Circuit in the U.K. has given the 59-year-old Babylon actor permission to do the first parade run.
A source told The Sun that watching Brad Pitt lead the field at the British Grand Prix in July will be a crazy and surreal thing to see on TV and in person at Silverstone.
Sources say that “billions of pounds of cars” will be at stake in the race and that producers wanted the film to be “as real as possible.”
Pitt and Lewis have worked together on a Formula One movie that doesn’t have a name yet. Lewis, who has won seven world championships, is the film’s executive director.
Pitt’s character in the film is an ex-Formula One racer who comes out of retirement to help a young driver. The release date of the film is set for 2019.
