Fox Entertainment Studios: Hannah Pillemer To Lead Scripted, Allison Wallach To Oversee Unscripted

Fox Entertainment Studios has solidified its scripted and unscripted creative team.

Longtime Marvista exec Hannah Pillemer has been officially named Head of Scripted Entertainment and Allison Wallach as Head of Unscripted Entertainment.

This comes six months after Fox underwent a major restructure, separating the company into three groups: network, studios and international distribution.

The appointments are not a surprise as both execs have essentially been doing the job for the last few months; Wallach moved over the studio side in March as part of the restructure, having previously been on the network side and Pillemer is now the top scripted exec on the studio side following the departure of Ted Gold.

Pillemer, who previously served as EVP Creative & Production at MarVista Entertainment, joined the company, which was acquired by Fox in 2021, in 2013 and leads all development, creative and production for scripted. This includes comedy Animal Control, starring Joel McHale, and midseason show Going Dutch with Denis Leary. She also oversees its pipeline of nearly 100 television movies a year as well as Hallmark drama The Way Home with Andie MacDowell, which is in its third season, and The Chicken Sisters on Hallmark+, starring Lea Thompson and Wendie Malick.

Wallach initially joined Fox Alternative Entertainment in 2019 before moving over to the network at the end of 2022. She has overseen series such as The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice as well as its partnership with Gordon Ramsay’s Studio Ramsay Global, which is behind Next Level Chef and an upcoming Netflix doc about the celeb chef.

“I am honored to be working alongside Hannah and Allison as we build the future of the new Fox Entertainment Studios.  They are both incredibly talented creative executives with strong business acumen and a global point of view who will catapult our ability to create the kinds of unexpected, unforgettable scripted and unscripted original content that will define the Fox brand going forward,” said Szew. “I’m energized and grateful to work with these incredible leaders, the teams they’re building and the relationships they continue to foster across the global creative community.”
